This week we also updated our Saline All-State Wall. This wall is dedicated to all of Saline’s first team all-state non-aquatic athletes. This project was funded by the former Saline Athletic Booster Club, grants, and by advertisements. This is another project that was funded with no educational dollars.
Our plan is to continue to work with coaches to recognize Saline’s all-state athletes. We realize that there are Saline all-state athletes that are not on the wall. The athletes that are on the wall are the ones our department had photos of and verification of all-state status. Each summer we will add to our All-State Wall when an all-state athlete graduates, we receive a photo of the athlete, and we have verification that the athlete was recognized as a first team all-state athlete.
