The Varsity Competitive Cheer team has just kicked off their season.  With 18 returning varsity competitive cheerleaders (5 seniors), and three other girls who were varsity sideline cheerleaders during football season, the Saline team is looking forward to a great year!  Coach Natasha Boysal said, “Freshman Sammy Toor and Julie Krzeczkowski have been a great addition to our team.  Our goal is to place in the top four at Districts, so we can move into the Regional meet in February.  Last year, as a team, we placed fifth and didn’t have any seniors.”  Coach Boysal also added, “I love my team!  They are so much fun, and I dont know what I would do without them. I have coached most of them since seventh grade!”  Coach Boysal and her team are very excited for the season.

This is also the first time in a while that Saline has had a JV Competitive Cheer Team.  They have 14 girls, all of which are very talented.  Saline has a home competition on January 14, so come out and support our Hornets!  Good luck with your season, ladies!
