The 8th Grade Blue Lady Hornets are off to a strong start as they claimed their second win of the season by outscoring Dexter Gold 11-4 on the road.
The Saline Blue 7th Grade will rejoin the action with the 8th graders on Thursday, February 2, against Chelsea at home.
On the home court the 7th Grade Gold Lady Hornets gave it their best shot, but the Kicking Mules Red Squad bested the Hornets 11-5.
The Gold 8th Grade Hornets played an excellent game, outscoring Bedford in every period except the 4th. Although Bedford’s effort was commendable, a well-coached and determined Hornet squad held on for the win with a final score of 19-14. This puts the 8th Gold Hornets record at 3-0.
The Gold Hornets will travel to Dexter on Thursday, February 2.
