Game Recap

With great weather for a lacrosse game the Lady Hornets were looking to revenge their 20-4 loss from last year by using home field advantage with some distinguished alumni in the stands. Emily hill started her varsity career by putting her first shot in the back of the net. After a back and forth first half that had Quinn Alexis and Abby Morton find the net Plymouth answered with 3 goals of their own. The second half found the lady Hornets falling behind quickly behind 5 more Plymouth goals and tenacious zone defense. By the time the Hornets started chipping away at their defense, they found themselves only being able to answer with one more goal from team captain Quinn Alexis for a final 4-8 loss. Scoring ended with Quinn Alexis with 2 goals, Emily Hill and Abby Morton with a goal a piece. Maddie Siedlik not only impressed with 8 saves but she also putting on a clearing clinic by putting plenty of hers past half field along with a couple to Plymouth’s restraining line. The Hornets will be in action on Saturday evening when they take on Toledo St. Ursula.
