Meet Recap

The Lady Hornets continue to get stronger as a team as they claimed their first SEC victory tonight against Monroe. Of the 17 events, the Hornets claimed 11 of them including 3 of 4 relays.

The highlights continue to stem from freshman, Lauryn Hunt, winning both the 200 and 400 while running on the winning 4×200 and 4×400. Hunt has quickly transitioned from a freshman learning the ropes, to an MVP candidate for this team. Another freshman, Emily Cook, had a great day claiming titles in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and finishing 4th in the long jump.
