The second game, Hornets capitalized on the struggles of the Monroe pitcher. Giving up a few to many walks, the Hornets produced some timely hitting to score the runs needed to capture the second game of the double header.

A great game ended with Northville winning the international tie break rule in the 9th with a 2 run inning, while the Hornets were unable to capitalize in the bottom of the inning.

In the second game the Hornets came out with another good showing on defense with no errors and putting together nine hits at the plate. Lincoln struggled defensively and Laura Vaccaro did a really nice job keeping their batters off balance. Hornets win 12-1

A good defensive performance and timely hitting allowed the Hornets to beat Lincoln in the opener, 10-0. High light of the evening was a great outing by Kristina Zalewski on the mound with 16 k’s and 1 bb.

Saline completed the sweep with a 10-1 nightcap win. Saline was lead by the hitting of Kaylee Harmon going 3-4, Laura Vaccaro 2-4, with a triple and 2 rbi’s. Two more wins for the Hornet Softball Team! Ann Arbor Skyline traveled to Saline for a league double header. In the first game a 10-0 win (5 innings)while accumulating 15 hits on 0 errors and in the night cap another 16-1 win (3 inning) having 14 hits and 1 error.
