Saline High School
Saline scored off of a penalty corner in the second half of play to defeat Mercy High School Friday afternoon in Farmington Hills. Junior Hannah Jarvie scored the game winning goal with a direct shot from the top left of the circle. Jarvie was assisted by Senior Grace Livsey.
Mercy scored the first goal of the game within the first ten minutes of play. Livsey tied the game for the Hornets before the half when she lifted the ball past the Mercy keeper and into the net.
The Hornets (9-3) will play Marian High School (9-2-1) on Monday at home in Hornet Stadium. Game time is 7 pm.
