Championship Saturday

Our Hornets had a big day on Saturday, June 2nd.  It started with our Girls soccer team defeating Ann Arbor Huron, 1-0 for a MHSAA District Championship.  Next, our baseball team won two games (Bedford, 9-2 and Monroe, 18-0) to win a MHSAA District Championship.  The girls tennis team had a strong showing finishing their

Boys Golf Wins District!

The Saline boys golf team won the district title on Thursday at Whispering Willows golf course in Livonia.  Saline beat out Plymouth who is ranked 2nd in the state on a 5th man score.  Saline and Plymouth both shot 299.  Caleb Wittig finished 4th and made the All-District team shooting 73. Saline’s Women’s Varsity Pair boat (Gavin Gallagher and Haley Pfeiffer) qualified for nationals this year and is traveling to Tennessee on June 8-10 to compete with top high school teams from around the country. Saline has sent two boats to Nationals previously, in 2008 and again in 2010.  Row Hornets!!  Good Luck!

Girls Lax moves on in MHSAA Play!

The Saline Girls varsity lacrosse team defeated Farmington High School 10-7 in the first round of the regional playoffs on 5/24.  Saline’s next opponent will be Mercy High School.  The game will be played on Wednesday, May 30th, @ 7pm at Farmington High School.

SEC Champs!

The Saline boys golf team captured the SEC Championship on Wednesday with a very strong showing at Calderone Farms.  The team entered the tournament tied with Huron at 10-1 but came away with a resounding win over the entire field.  Saline shot 292 and finished 28 shots ahead of 2nd place Skyline.  Pioneer was 3rd
