Harris Signs With Detroit-Mercy’s Lacrosse Team

  Last Friday, senior Brad Harris signed with the University of Detroit-Mercy’s lacrosse team. Playing on scholarship, Brad is very happy with his future Division I team. His parents Amy and John Harris, brother Scott Harris, and Saline’s own coach Ceo are very proud of his accomplishment and look forward to a great season.  

Runner-up at States–Girl’s Swim

Congratulations to the Saline Girl’s Swim Team and Coaches on their 2nd place finish at the Division I State Finals!  The meet, held at Eastern Michigan University, was very competitive– with many talented teams there. What a tremendous season it was for Saline, with the Runner-up title definitely earned!

A Look Back On Volleyball

With the exception of their early exit from the playoffs, Saline’s Varsity Volleyball team should be very happy with the season. Middle School Boys Basketball Season is Under Way

Tuesday, November 15 was the season opener for Saline Middle School Basketball. The Gold Hornets started the season at home against Bedford Red. While the 7th Grade Gold Hornets came out looking very strong in the first period, the Kicking Mules eventually defeated them by a score of 19-15. Free throws helped seal the deal

State Meet–Girl’s Swim

This Friday and Saturday, November 18th and 19th, the Saline Girl’s Swim Team will be competing in the MHSAA State Meet which is being held at Eastern Michigan University.  Saline is currently the two-time defending State Champion team and are ready to claim the State title for the third consecutive year.  The girls competing in

Girl’s Cross Country–Banquet

Sunday night, the Girl’s Cross Country Team held their end of the season banquet.  The team celebrated and recapped on such a successful season. The team won the SEC Conference, were victors at Regionals, and finished as the Runner-up team at the State Meet.   Congratulations to the team and coaches on a great season!

Wrestling Parent Meeting Thursday 11/17

There will be a parent meeting for all parents of HS wrestlers on Thursday 11/17.  The meeting will be in the HS wrestling room at 5:30 p.m.  All parents of wrestlers are encouraged to attend.  The Meeting will cover scheduling, rules, volunteer opportunities, and meeting the coaches.

Flynn Signs with Oakland Swim Team

Senior Nikki Flynn has officially signed the the Oakland University Swim Team.  The holder of several school records, including the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events, will be attending OSU next fall on scholarship.  Flynn, Senior Co-Captain of the Saline Swim and Dive Team, is excited to compete in her fourth and final State competition.
