Powers Brothers Headed to the Next Level

Both Nathan and Dylan Powers have earned scholarships and the opportunity to compete at the next level.  Dylan will wrestle at Eastern Michigan University and Nathan will throw for Northwood University on the track and field team. Dylan Powers-Regional Champion at 189lbs

Dylan Powers joins Danny Poupore, as both Saline wrestlers earned a trip to the MHSAA State Finals, March 2-4 at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  Dylan was crowned Champion at the 189 lbs weight class. Danny dropped a close one in the championship bout at 125lbs  finishing in 2nd, qualifying him for the State Finals.

Poupore w/ the OT win at 125lbs

Danny Poupore defeated his opponent from Novi Catholic Central in overtime to advance to the Championship bout at 125lbs. He is a 2X State placer and is headed back to the Palace of Auburn Hills for the MHSAA State Finals, March 2-4. Good luck Daniel and Go Hornets!  

MHSAA Wrestling Regional at Saline

Head Wrestling coach, Scott Marin and his staff are one of the best in the state.  Not only do they mold young wrestlers into mature student-athletes, they also teach them about life.  Wrestling is one of the many amazing programs in Saline! Today, Coach Marvin and his staff will host the prestigious, MHSAA Wrestling Regional meet
