Rowing Team Wraps Up Fall Season

Over the weekend, the Saline Rowing team competed in its final regatta of the fall season. The Hornets, competing on Lake Leelanau, took home a Top 3 performance in 9 of the 18 races and the mens team tied for second overall with Anthony Wayne (OH). The Crew Team in GR!

This past weekend the Crew Team traveled to Grand Rapids for a competition. Mens Var single  Oliver Mepham 3rd place Womens Var single    Jenna Jensa 2nd place Mens Var.  150lb 4+   Graham Fox, Micheal Torssell, Tim Burtell, Conrad Brill  , Cox Ben Read. Crew Has An Awesome State Championship!

The team had the best showings at the State championships ever. Saline entered 15 of the 18 events with 11 of the crews making it on to the grand finals.  Of that 11,  8 boats had top 3 finishes.     Race 1: Womens Varsity 2x Final  1st 2 Grosse Ile (K. Farrell)    

First Weekend for Crew

Crew had a good first weekend of racing. The best performance of the weekend was the girls 1 varsity 8 with a first place finish over 2nd place Rockford and 3rd Detroit boat club. The girls 2nd varsity boat had a great race to finish in 3rd place . This crew was made up of
